ShapeIQ is built by an independent developer. This app does not ask you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address, or any other directly-identifying information.
Your level stars, badges, daily streak, and settings are saved on your device and mirrored to your personal iCloud account (via NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore) so progress survives reinstalling the app and carries over to your other devices signed into the same iCloud account. This data is only readable by you and by this app — the developer never sees it.
ShapeIQ uses Firebase Analytics to understand which levels and features are used, so the game can be improved. This includes device identifiers and gameplay events (like level starts and completions), not anything you type or personal contact details.
Hints beyond the first free one are unlocked by watching a rewarded video ad, served by Google AdMob. Where required by law (including the EEA and UK), a consent form is shown before any ad request; you can also allow or decline cross-app tracking via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Declining either means you may see less relevant ads, not fewer ads.
We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal information to third parties. Any anonymized data collected for analytics or advertising is handled strictly by established third-party services (Google Firebase, Google AdMob) in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
You can reset all local progress at any time from Settings → Reset progress. To change or withdraw ad-tracking consent, use this device's Settings app under Privacy & Security → Tracking, or reinstall to see the consent form again.
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
